Terras do Sur Albariño 2024 is a fresh, characterful white from the Condado do Tea subzone of Rías Baixas in southern Galicia. Made from 100% Albariño, it brings together citrus and fresh fruit with balanced acidity, good texture and a long, elegant finish.

We love it because it has that unmistakable Atlantic freshness, but isn't all about sharp acidity. There's plenty of fruit and body too, making it an easy wine to enjoy on its own and a brilliant match for seafood.

What to Expect

Fresh citrus and floral fruit aromas lead into a juicy, rounded palate with good volume and balanced acidity. The finish is fresh, aromatic and pleasantly persistent.

The 2024 wine is made from 100% Albariño. It is fresh and fruity, with balanced acidity, good volume and a long, elegant finish.

  • ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

The Albariño is made in stainless-steel tanks, keeping the focus on freshness and varietal character.

The wine is clean and bright, with floral and fruity aromas, good volume on the palate and balanced acidity. The grapes come from the winery's own Albariño vineyards, including both old and young vines.

  • ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Adega Terras do Sur is a small family winery in the Condado do Tea. Its story goes back to the 1990s, when José Antonio Canda Gil began working to recover Albariño in the area. The winery was formally established in 2016.

The family has generations of experience caring for vines in the region, with a traditional, artisanal approach and a strong emphasis on respect for the land and the character of Galicia.

Today, Terras do Sur works with its own vineyards and focuses on local varieties including Albariño and Brancellao.
