TERMS OF SALE

Ordering

You can place an order with us in one of the following ways

- Website

- Email

The Contract

Your order is an offer to buy from us. A contract is not formed until we accept payment for your order which is when we despatch from our storage in either Wiltshire or Lincolnshire.

Feel Good Grapes reserves the right to amend orders already taken and acknowledged in order to ensure fair distribution of wines in limited supply, or in the event of stock being no longer available.

Prices and Description

Wine descriptions and prices payable are set out in our main lists, offers, and on the website. Unless stated otherwise, all prices shown include UK duty and VAT.  Prices are valid for the period they are online, however Feel Good Grapes reserves the right to alter prices without notice in the event of major currency fluctuations, changes in the rate of duty, VAT or other taxes, or other market conditions.

If, in error, we have under-priced a wine or service, we will not be liable to provide it to you at the published price provided we notify you before we despatch the item or, in the case where we are not despatching an item, within two working days of our acceptance of your order. In this case we may cancel your order provided we refund any payments you have made. Similarly, should we make an error in the description of a wine, we will not be liable to provide the wine described, provided we notify you before a contract has been formed.

Payment

Feel Good Grapes accepts payment using one of the following:

  • Debit and Credit Cards: Cards issued by MasterCard and Visa, plus Maestro paid online via our payment providers Paypal or Stripe

  • Bank transfer for certain email orders

Availability of stock and substitutes

All wines, spirits and services are subject to availability. This will be indicated to customers at the time of ordering on the website or by email.

If a wine has sold out, wherever possible our team will select an appropriate substitute/alternative that will be displayed on the website or offered to you if ordering by email.

In the unlikely event that we cannot provide stock of an item in an order that has already been confirmed, we will endeavour to replace the item with one of equal or greater value at Feel Good Grape’s cost.

Delivery

Delivery to any one address in the UK is charged at £10 inclusive of VAT.

This does not apply to Corporate Offers whose delivery cost will vary dependent on whether an office or home delivery.

Money received for delivery charges will in part be used to buy carbon credits to offset the carbon footprint of the delivery.  We will purchase carbon credits from Ripple Africa who operate under the UN’s Carbon Credit Scheme.

Deliveries will be scheduled to leave the Feel Good Grapes office on Wednesdays, in order to group deliveries and reduce the volume of transports used.

Delivery is carried out by Feel Good Grapes, London City Bond, or Parcelforce.  The schedule for these deliveries to different parts of the UK will be communicated on purchase.

Delivery is available throughout the UK.  For deliveries outside of the UK, including the Channel Islands, please get in touch through our contact forms.

Receipt of Goods

If you, or a recipient, will not be at the delivery address at the time of delivery and wish us to leave your order in a safe place or with a neighbour, please advise us at the time of order. In this situation, the delivery driver will put a card through your door to confirm that the order has been left. Assuming that your instructions were followed, we cannot accept responsibility for any subsequent loss or damage to the order.

Please check your consignment on arrival and report any damage immediately by emailing your Feel Good Grapes representative.  Claims for non-delivery, breakage or leakage are only accepted within 28 days of expected delivery.

Please be aware that some multi-case orders may get separated if delivered by carrier. If you do not receive the balance of your order within three working days of the first delivery, please contact us.

Ownership

All wines and spirits, or other goods ordered, remain the property of Feel Good Grapes until payment is received in full.

Right to Cancel

If we fail to deliver on the specified date offered at the time of order, please let us know; you may cancel the order and Feel Good Grapes will reimburse the full price paid.

If The Wine Is Faulty

If the wine is corked, oxidised or appears otherwise out of condition, as long as it is still within the recommended drink date and has been stored in suitable conditions, we will arrange to credit your account or replace the faulty bottle(s) where appropriate.  If a credit is placed on your account, we can refund your payment method on request.  We reserve the right to collect faulty bottles for inspection so please retain them in the first instance.

Sale or Return

Orders for large quantities of wine for weddings and other functions may be made on a sale or return basis. There is a return charge of £20 for collecting any wine that is not used. Wines must be returned in a saleable condition, otherwise no credit will be given.

Tasting and Events

Feel Good Grapes reserves the right to cancel any advertised function if insufficient tickets are sold, or through unavoidable circumstances. In this case we will contact you as soon as a decision is made and a full refund will be arranged immediately.

If you wish to cancel tickets purchased for a tasting or event, refunds will only be given if we are notified at least 14 days before an event.  Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets.

All attendees at a Feel Good Grapes tasting must be 18 years or older. Attendees who appear under the age of 18 will be asked to produce photographic identification with proof of age.

EN PRIMEUR & STORAGE

Feel Good Grapes can offer the purchase of En Primeur wines for cellar building and investment purposes.  Separate terms and conditions will be issued to those customers wishing to participate.

Feel Good Grapes has an account with London City Bond for bonded storage of wines.  Customers of Feel Good Grapes are entitled to use this storage at a cost of £1.00 per 75cl bottle per calendar year.

Fees will be charged when the customer wishes to move the wines, and wines will only be released on delivery of payment.

DATA AND SECURITY

Age Verification

Please note that membership is only available, and sales of alcohol can only be made, to those over 18 years of age.

Legislation governing the sale of alcohol requires us to positively verify that members are over 18 years of age before we can process their first order. When setting up an account for a new customer, therefore, one of our procedures involves verifying date of birth using name and address details.

This Privacy Notice explains how we (Feel Good Grapes) will use your personal information. Security of Payment Card Information

Feel Good Grapes do not take any payment details and/or store these details anywhere on their site or their data storage.  All payments are completed through Paypal, Stripe, or via electronic bank transfer.

The following guide outlines what cookies are, the types of cookies used on Feel Good Grapes’ website and how they work.

What are 'Cookies'?

Most major websites use cookies.

A cookie is a very small data file placed on your hard drive by a web page server. It is essentially your access card, and cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses. It is uniquely yours and can only be read by the server that gave it to you.

Cookies cannot be used by themselves to identify you.

The purpose of a basic cookie is to tell the server that you returned to that web page or have items in your basket. Without cookies, websites and their servers have no memory. A cookie, like a key, enables swift passage from one place to the next.

Without a cookie every time you open a new web page the server where that page is stored will treat you like a completely new visitor.

More recently, cookies have also been used to collect information about the user which allows a profile of their preferences and interests to be created so that they can be served with interest-based rather than generic information about available goods and services.

How do Cookies help Feel Good Grapes?

Cookies allow our website to function effectively. Cookies also help us to arrange content to match your preferred interests more quickly. We can learn what information is important to our visitors, and what isn't.

How does Feel Good Grapes use cookies?

Feel Good Grapes does not accept advertising from third parties and therefore, as a rule, does not serve third-party cookies. Exceptions to this include performance/analytical cookies (see below), used anonymously to improve the way our website works, the provision of personalised recommendations, and occasions when we may team up with suppliers to offer special discounts on goods or services.

Feel Good Grapes uses technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site.

What type of cookies does Feel Good Grapes use?

We use the following types of cookies:

Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for the operation of our website, enabling you to move around the website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the website. Without these cookies, services like shopping baskets or e-billing cannot be provided. Under this heading, we currently use the following cookies

Authentication Cookie and Anonymous Cookie
These cookies remember that you are logged in to your account – without them, the website would repeatedly request your login details with each new page you visit during your time on our website. They are removed once your session has ended.

Session Cookie
These cookies are used to remember who you are as you use our site: without them, the website would be unable to tell the difference between you and another Feel Good Grapes customer and facilities such as your basket and the checkout process would therefore not be able to function. They too are removed once your session has ended.

Functionality & Targeting/Tracking Cookies
These cookies are used to recognise you when you return to our website and to provide enhanced features. This allows us to personalise our content for you. Under this heading, we currently use the following cookies:

Unique User Cookie
This cookie is used to store your share number in order to identify that you have visited the website before. Without this cookie, we would be unable to tell whether you are a member or not.  They are also used to record your visit to the website, the pages you have visited and the links you have followed. We use this information to make our website, the content displayed on it and direct marketing communications we may send to you or contact you about more relevant to your interests.  This cookie expires after 13 months.

Peerius Cookies
These third-party cookies are used to provide you with personalised recommendations based on your purchase and browsing history. They expire within 4 hours of your visit.

Performance/analytical cookies
These cookies collect information about how visitors use a website, for instance which pages visitors go to most often, and if they get error messages from web pages. These cookies don't collect information which identifies a visitor. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. It is only used to improve how a website works. Under this heading, we currently use the following cookies.

Google Analytics Cookies
These are third-party cookies to enable Google Analytics to monitor website traffic. All information is recorded anonymously. Using Google Analytics allows Feel Good Grapes to better understand how members use our site and monitor website traffic.

Authentication Cookie
In order for us to ensure that your data remains secure it is necessary for us to verify that your session is authentic (i.e. it has not been compromised by a malicious user). We do this by storing an otherwise meaningless unique ID in a cookie for the duration of your visit. No personal information can be gained from this cookie.

How do you turn cookies off?

All modern browsers allow you to modify your cookie settings so that all cookies, or those types which are not acceptable to you, are blocked. However, please note that this may affect the successful functioning of the site, particularly if you block all cookies, including essential cookies. For example, In Internet Explorer, go to the Tools Menu, then go to Internet Options, then go to Privacy. Here you can change the rules your browser uses to accept cookies. You can find out more in the public sources mentioned below.
