This is Sémillon with a little more going on. The 2019 Cuvée Prestige combines ripe citrus and white stone fruit with a lovely creamy texture, gentle oak and a fresh finish.
It's richer and more textured than a simple unoaked white, but the fruit and acidity keep it bright and easy to drink. A great example of why Bordeaux's white wines deserve a little more attention.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
Sémillon is often the quiet partner in Bordeaux's famous white blends, but here it gets to take centre stage.
Expect lemon, ripe stone fruit and a touch of honey, with a creamy, rounded palate and subtle vanilla and nutty notes from the oak. There's enough acidity underneath to keep the wine fresh, while the finish has a lovely mineral feel.
The result is generous without being heavy — a white that's just as happy alongside dinner as it is in your glass on its own.

The Blend comes from the estate’s Unoaked Range, described by Monfaucon as the purest expression of its vineyards: ripe fruit, allowed to do its thing in the cellar, creating fresh and flavourful whites.
The blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle is part of what makes the wine so interesting — bringing together texture, freshness and floral character without oak getting in the way.
