Unoaked and organically farmed according to biodynamic principles, it's all about the grape rather than oak: ripe citrus, melon, white stone fruit and floral notes, with a lovely fresh finish.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Château de Monfaucon is an independent producer of organic white wines, tucked away around 10 minutes south of Saint-Émilion, with the vineyard running alongside the Dordogne.
The estate works exclusively with its own hand-picked grapes, including Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle and Chardonnay. They're deliberately a little different: rather than chasing a particular idea of what Bordeaux white wine should taste like, Monfaucon prefers to make wines that reflect the character of each vintage.
Everything happens at the estate, from vine to bottle, and the winemaking uses naturally occurring wild yeasts. The team is also very focused on keeping alcohol levels moderate, believing that too much alcohol can mask the natural fruit character of the wine.
And then there's the name Nobody's Perfect. As the estate puts it, they take making the wines seriously — just not themselves. We like that.
