Anno Domini Prosecco - A classic Veneto aperitif, complete with the 'tappo spago' closure (a cork that's fixed it with a string). Gentle sparkling organic prosecco full of citrus and apples.
Light and delicate on the nose, with notable floral, citrus, and golden apple notes. These carry over to the tangy palate, where the gentle bubbles keep it easy drinking and smooth.
AD 47 is the winery of brothers Christian and Andrea Tombacco, the third generation of Prosecco producers of their family in Veneto. These are Prosecco wines made in traditional fashions, including the tappo spago cork closure, a symbol of their desire to move forward while never forgetting their heritage.
Their vineyards are farmed organically, and is located on a Roman route connecting Venice to the plains, which was completed under the rule of Emperor Claudius Augustus in 47 AD - hence the name of their winery ‘47 Anno Domini’.
