Soave Castelcerino Filippi, organic, fresh, leesy, minerally. Castelcerino is the entry level wine from Filippi but is far from basic. 100% Garganega from 70 year old vines, fermented with natural yeast at a cool temperature.

 

This wine is a pure expression of the excellent terroir it comes from and shows that Garganega can make really elegant and fresh wines and doesn’t need beefing up by oak ageing. It spends 4-6 months on the lees, giving it a medium straw colour with a light slightly earthy but fresh aroma of white fruits and apple blossom with great minerality on the palate and a persistent finish.
